CAMPUS OF STUDY
The Computer Science program, offered under both the College of Engineering and as part of the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences, is designed for students aspiring to careers in diverse fields like software engineering, development, cybersecurity, , , data science, quantum computing, high-performance computing, networking and other computing-related areas. This interdisciplinary study offers a comprehensive understanding of computational principles, programming methodologies, hardware-software integration, mathematical foundations for algorithms and system analysis.
MISSION STATEMENT
The undergraduate program equip students with the foundational knowledge and advanced skills necessary for a successful career as computer scientists or in any role requiring deep computing expertise. Our curriculum provides a robust bl of theoretical concepts like data structures, algorithmic theory, software engineering principles, hardware fundamentals, programming languages, and practical applications through project-based learning.

Programming Techniques: Emphasis on efficient coding practices to solve complex problems.
Hardware Systems Knowledge: Understanding the architecture and operation of computer systems.
