Pathways to Graduate School for Rising College Seniors is an exclusive program offered by the School of Engineering and Applied Science at Princeton University. The initiative invite highly accomplished, fourth-year college students specializing in STEM disciplines who are enthusiastic about pursuing advanced education.
The one-day virtual event will be the kickoff point followed by monthly virtual workshops throughout the fall semester. This program offers a comprehensive experience that encompasses:
Insight into Graduate Education: Participants will gn firsthand knowledge from current graduate students and faculty, covering all six engineering programs at Princeton University.
Guidance for Successful Application: Members will receive resources and continuous support tlored to facilitate their navigation through the challenging process of applying to graduate school.
The School of Engineering and Applied Science fosters an inclusive environment by bringing together diverse backgrounds from academics, industry, non-profits, government, and beyond to achieve innovations that benefit ity. Thus, Pathways to Graduate School particularly targets candidates with potential for significant contributions-through research, teaching, or service-to the academic community's diversity and excellence as well as STEM fields more broadly. Women and other underrepresented groups in STEM are strongly encouraged to apply.
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must be current or rising seniors majoring in a STEM field.
A minimum Major GPA of 3.5 is required, accompanied by an outstanding academic record showcasing strong research potential.
An unofficial transcript and a recommation letter from a faculty member familiar with the applicant's work are mandatory.
Program Timeline:
The program commences with an introductory virtual event followed by monthly workshops in the fall semester.
Application Process:
Applications will open on May 1, 2024. The deadline for submissions is July 30, 2024.
