Doctoral Programs: We warmly invite graduates who are academically ambitious and possess a profound interest in research. Admission criteria include a strong academic foundation, a compelling statement of purpose outlining your research aspirations, motivations, and why you see NUS Graduate School as the ideal platform for these ambitions.

Gather and Prepare Your Documentation:

1 Submit a comprehensive transcript reflecting your GPA from either your bachelor's or master’s degree.

2 Craft an articulate Statement of Purpose detling your academic journey, research interests, future goals, and personal motivations that align with our program offerings.

3 Provide us with recommation letters from academic or professional references. These insights are pivotal in showcasing your qualifications and potential for impactful research contributions.

4 Attach a detled Curriculum Vitae highlighting achievements within academia and pertinent work experience.

Optional but highly recommed is:

5 Standardized test scores such as the Graduate Record Examination GRE. This demonstrates your proficiency in quantitative, verbal, and analytical skills.

6 Include publications or evidence of involvement in prior research projects. These serve as concrete proof of your dedication to academic excellence.

7 For applicants whose first language is not English, provide TOEFL or IELTS scores showcasing your fluency.

These components 1 through 4 are mandatory. While items 5 -7 aren't compulsory, high GRE scores and evidence of strong research skills can significantly boost the strength of your application.
