Established in the year 1951, Liaoning University of Technology LUT is a comprehensive public university that offers a wide range of academic programs across various disciplines. Liaoning University of Technology is a university home to over 1,278 faculty members including around 780 full-time instructors among them 148 professors, 300 associate professors, one course pioneer acknowledged by the Provincial Ministry of Education, fifty-seven college-level course leaders, academic pioneers, and outstanding young core teachers. The faculty is renowned for its impressive research output in science and technology.

In the past five years alone, they have completed over 500 scientific research projects; received twenty-five national awards at provincial level, published more than four thousand scholarly papers with one hundred ten integrated into three major international report surveys. LUT emphasizes on enriching students' comprehensive understanding of their surroundings and enhancing their creative and analytical skills, ensuring that its graduates are highly sought after by various industries.

The School of International Education is in charge of all matters related to international cooperation, student enrollment, and the management of foreign students at LUT. The university has been conducting international trade and cooperation since 1985, establishing numerous exchange programs with more than twenty overseas universities. Students are sent abroad to America, Germany, Australia, UK, Korea, Singapore, and Japan while international students can earn graduation certificates and bachelor's degrees over a period of four years.

Up until now, we have had students from the US, Korea, Japan, Slovenia, Pakistan, among others. Our Chinese Trning Center offers free Chinese language courses for all certificate students to help them better understand the culture. We also organize classes such as Kung Fu, Calligraphy, and traditional Chinese musical instruments to provide a comprehensive learning experience.

Liaoning University of Technology grounds are recognized as one of the Garden Units in Liaoning province. The dormitories provide a comfortable living space equipped with amenities, surrounded by social ambiance and easily accessible for shopping and sightseeing purposes. The on-campus canteens serve unique styles of cuisine that are widely enjoyed by students and staff alike.
