IFTM Expands Global Partnerships through 4+1 Progression Pathway with Swiss Education Group
Just months ago, IFTM Institute for Tourism Studies marked a significant milestone in strengthening its global connections by announcing the launch of an innovative '4+1 Progression Pathway' partnership with the renowned Swiss Education Group. This extension builds on their existing successful collaboration through the 3+1 Dual Bachelor's Degree Programme. The move is designed to provide IFTM graduates with unique opportunities for further studies at some of Switzerland’s top institutions specializing in tourism and hospitality education.
Under this new pathway, IFTM graduates will have direct access to master's degree programs offered by three distinguished institutions within the Swiss Education Group: Swiss Hotel Management School, Cesar Ritz Colleges Switzerland, and Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland. These esteemed institutions currently rank third, sixth, and eighth globally for Hospitality and Leisure Management studies as per the latest QS World University Rankings.
The collaboration will also offer IFTM graduates financial incentives through discounted tuition fees for those who are eligible.
To formalize this exted partnership, a virtual signing ceremony took place earlier this month with representatives from both institutions.
IFTM President Dr. Fanny Vong Chuk Kwan highlighted during the e-signing event that the continuous collaboration between IFTM and Swiss Education Group reflects their shared commitment to providing students with unparalleled educational opportunities and access to global best practices.
The journey began in 2022 when IFTM introduced a dual bachelor’s degree program in partnership with the Swiss Education Group. This pioneering initiative offered selected IFTM students the opportunity to sp an additional year studying in Switzerland, where they could earn a bachelor's degree from one of the institutions under the Swiss Education Group alongside their existing degree.
This innovative collaboration underscores both organizations' dedication to advancing education and providing students with a well-rounded academic experience that spans international boundaries. The '4+1 Progression Pathway', with its focus on advanced studies in the tourism and hospitality sector, promises an enriching educational journey for IFTM graduates looking to expand their knowledge and horizons.
