Guangxi University Medical School Overview

The Guangxi University Medical School was inaugurated on December 28, 2016, under the vision of advanced and specialized education. Its strategic objective is to cultivate an international research-oriented medical school at a high level. To achieve this goal, our institution has structured its academic framework around four key disciplines: Pharmacy, Basic Medicine, Clinical Medicine, and Preventive Medicine. This multidisciplinary approach enables us to conduct cutting-edge research in areas such as Marine Medicine, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Regenerative Medicine and Transplantation, Emergency Medicine, Oncology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, among others.

Our focus is on leveraging Guangxi's unique resources and its multicultural landscape, particularly in the context of ASEAN countries. Our research eavors m to not only serve the national needs but also ext our impact into the regional and global communities. We are committed to providing high-quality education alongside robust scientific research and community services.

Faculty

The Medical School boasts a distinguished faculty comprising eminent scholars who have made significant contributions in China, including 8 full professors, 7 associate professors, along with 7 doctoral supervisors and 25 masters' program supervisors. Moreover, we are proud to host two national-level outstanding personnel.

Student Development

We prioritize the cultivation of medical professionals who possess a strong sense of social responsibility, legal awareness, innovative thinking, practical skills, and global perspective, guided by our unique talent development model. The school offers comprehensive academic programs at undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels, including:

We are equipped with a variety of teaching methods, from seminars to research-based classes, discussion sessions, English courses, bilingual programs both on and off-campus, co-taught courses both domestically and internationally, as well as graduate-level courses.
