Welcome to the Global Scholars Program at Northeastern University

The Global Scholars program embodies this vision by offering an immersive first-year experience that combines rigorous academics with the exploration of Northeastern's global university system.
In the Global Scholars Program, you'll embark on a transformative educational journey alongside like-minded peers. Together, we will delve into two distinctive locationsNortheastern University Oakland in California and Northeastern University Londonoffering a dual-city experience during your first year. Your academic term will be split between these campuses, with a semester spent at each location to provide comprehensive exposure.
Eligibility for the starting location will be communicated in May through your Application Status Check, based on factors such as major, age, and program capacity. Regardless of your initial placement within our global university system, you'll benefit from the support of a vast community including faculty, staff, advisors, and fellow students.
Oakland, California
Northeastern University Oakland in California's Bay Area combines rigorous academics with vibrant cultural experiences and a strong commitment to equity and social justice. The Oakland campus is surrounded by nonprofit arts organizations, social justice initiatives, advocacy groups, and businesses dedicated to corporate responsibility.
