These guidelines provide educators, curriculum designers, researchers, parents, and other stakeholders with concrete suggestions for integrating the UDL principles into any discipline or field of study, ensuring all learners have access to meaningful and challenging educational opportunities.

The most recent iterationUDL Guidelines version 3.0was launched on July 30th, 2024. This update has been developed in response to the strong demand from practitioners and researchers alike to address critical barriers stemming from biases and exclusionary systems. The new UDL Guidelines strive to tackle these issues while remning true to their original mission of creating learning environments that fully respect and value every learner.
